The unique Global Mentor Programme, or The Affidamento Programme, is run exclusively for women. Affidamento is the Italian word for Entrustment. Based on the tradition of the mentor-protégée relationship, the programme allows successful women to help and advise younger and less experienced women to grow and develop professionally. Through this programme girls around the world will find new opportunities and ways of achieving their goals, both in terms of education and personal potential, aided by the advice and suggestions of mentors. The Foundation also raises money for scholarships and grants for education and business purposes that enable women of many cultures to attain their goals, offering them opportunities which will help them achieve their dreams and which advance the cause of women’s visibility and power. Annual awards are made to qualified recipients.
