Coaching Certification – It’s Not Important, But What Is?

Of course there are many other criteria that go into selecting a marketing Coach. There are countless blogs, websites, and brochures that can give you other questions you can use in your search. Let us go through in detail the four listed above.

It should go without saying that an internet marketing coach doesn’t just hatch from under a CPU, maybe under a Modem but never a CPU. However I haven’t run across one of those yet and the chances are you won’t either. You can go to your local computer store and ask the clerk which department sells or rents an internet marketing coach. Ask if they have any in stock or better yet any returns that you can get at a discount. If that doesn’t work you can always ask your cousin who has a friend who knows a guy who does that kind of stuff.

Well, if I tell you that the vast majority of people who try Internet Marketing fail in the first year, well over 90 percent, would you still think it is that easy? It is not easy of course. There is a lot to learn and even then, when you know what you are doing it still take unrelenting persistence and it is a slow process to success. So how do you start and where do you get the information that you need?

A network marketing coach gives us patience. In learning any new skill, there is a learning curve. A coach can teach us patience as we struggle through failure to achieve mastery. Do you know of any successful person who doesn’t have a mentor?

There was this mix of excitement and complete terror in letting go of that steady paycheck in exchange for the unknown. All those little questions popping up in my head: Was I ready? Did I know what I was getting myself into? What if this is a technology coach complete bust?

Article marketing works on the Internet, and it works well when you do it right. You got a couple of choices. One, you can try to learn it all on your own by trial and error, spend lots of money and waste lots of time.

A few of the things a marketing coach can help you with is writing a bio, tagline and back cover synopsis that reflects the strength of your writing and doesn’t hide the key talking points behind unnecessary words. Just like new reporters are admonished to never bury the lead.

Too many coaches are confused about the concept of the niche. They either don’t define a niche, or define it so broadly that it’s not a niche at all. They fear that by defining a niche, they will miss the opportunity to coach. The truth is simple. Niche is all about marketing, not coaching. You define a niche so that you can clearly understand who it is you are marketing to, and what that niche needs.

Finally, don’t be afraid to admit when someone just isn’t right for you. Not everyone will see your vision, and not all personalities match, so if after your initial consolation you don’t feel comfortable, say so. Simply let him know that while you think he’s probably a great technology coach, you don’t think he’s right for you.

Fast forward to today, almost everyone has a decent camera, so getting a scouting report is no longer as necessary as it once was. It’s nice to be able to download the game film and burn it to a DVD, all at home and watch it with all of our technology coach staff. There is no substitute for watching game film with all of your coaching staff to pick it apart. Once that is done, you can begin to develop your game plan for your next game.

A marketing Coach should offer you a complimentary 15-minute coaching session so both of you can decide if you are a good fit for each other. Your coach is not your buddy or pal, but you must develop strong rapport so you can get the most possible out of your coaching sessions. Of course, it may take some time to develop a high level of trust, but the coach definitely should not give you the heebie-jeebies. If your spidey-sense sounds an alarm during the coaching sessions, you should absolutely acknowledge it, and respond in an appropriate manner.

While it’s always beneficial to have an outside opinion, not everyone has the budget or inclination to hire a CMO or marketing coach. And let’s be honest-even the most expensive coach can’t force attorneys to put their ideas into practice. By pulling from a coach’s overall strategy and adapting the ideas to your own daily marketing initiatives, you can propel yourself forward…on your own. Here are my best tips for being your own marketing and business development coach.
